About Us

Amezam Shipping is a Maryland based company that strives to bridge the geographical gap between the U.S.A and Zambia at very competitive rates. Traditional carriers are very costly as they base their pricing on weight whereas we base ours on volume.

In the USA we provide groupage shipping from the following states : Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut, Minnesota, Missouri, Dallas Texas, Orlando Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Seattle(WA),Kansas and Arizona

We also allow free shipments for charitable causes. Indivduals or organisations can ship one free barrel or box equivalent per year.

Services

  • Free barrel (only pay $50 deposit deducted from shipping cost-DC, MD, VA customers).
  • Free barrel delivery to your home (DC, MD, VA customers - within 50 mile radius from the warehouse).
  • Free barrel pick-up from your home(DC, MD, VA customers - within 50 mile radius from the warehouse)
  • Free storage.
  • Delivery within Lusaka for $20 per barrel or wardrobe box.
  • Delivery to the Copperbelt or other provinces for $50 per barrel or wardrobe box by bus or courier.
  • Out of state groupage shipping
  • $30 extra logistical fee per barrel or wardrobe box for
    Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Seattle
    Washington and Arizona customers. $15 extra for smaller packages on the
    home page(OLD)
